Class of 1970
Golden Anniversary Celebration

Dear Fellow Classmates of 1970,

We hope this notice finds you and your families safe and well. For the past few months, our group had a wonderful experience re-connecting with many of you and sharing memories of our days together at New York Tech. It seems that these current times call for more of that, and we encourage everyone to continue to do so.

As with other schools and businesses, New York Tech had to cancel in-person learning and restrict access to all of its campuses in accordance with federal and state social distancing guidelines. In compliance, Tech has shifted classes to remote learning and canceled or postponed many of its spring semester events including graduation, which includes the planned reunion weekend.
We conferred as a committee, and with Tech’s alumni staff, and have decided to combine our Golden Anniversary with the Class of 1971 to be held in Spring 2021. Therefore, our planning committee will reconvene this September with additional members from the Class of '71. Having the extra planning time and committee members will ensure that your Golden Anniversary Reunion is a great event.

We are sure that we will all be ready to celebrate by then. In the interim, should you have any questions or thoughts, please email the Office of Alumni Relations at Until then, stay safe and be well.
