Where Does Education Go from Here?

Join New York Tech professor Stan Silverman for a look into what the future of education will look like in a post COVID-19 world. The COVID-19 pandemic has become the catalyst for the transformation of an educational system that has functioned in essentially the same way for 5 centuries. Not only how we teach but what and who we teach will be changing for all education from pre-kindergarten to graduate school and the workplace.

As learners, parents, teachers and citizens we will see significant shifts. It is important to review these shifts as we collectively forge the new normal.

Professor Silverman specializes in the application of instructional technologies to enhance teaching and learning in K–12 settings and also runs the Technology Based Learning System Department that supports numerous grants and contracts supporting K–12 education throughout the United States, as well as coordinating the establishment of public/private partnerships in New York State.
