The New York Tech Vancouver Alumni Chapter Board invites you to stay connected with classmates and the school through the brand new WhatsApp group.
The purpose of the Vancouver Alumni WhatsApp group is to provide an opportunity for networking, communication, and connection. This group is invitation only. Alumni who wish to be part of the group must complete a registration form providing permission for their cell phone number to be visible to all group participants. Representatives from the university will use this group to broadcast events and volunteer opportunities.
Through the Vancouver Alumni WhatsApp group, we encourage:

- Healthy conversations related to the group.
- Diversity and inclusivity of views and opinions.
- Acknowledgement of when something has been announced.
We ask that you:

- Do not send messages between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. PT, unless it’s an emergency.
- Do not send messages directed to religion, sexual orientation, region, country, culture and political views.
- Do not send media, unless it is relevant to the group.
- Do not forward messages.
- Do not use abusive language and/or obscenity in the group.
- Do not share information from the group with individuals outside of the group (ie. phone numbers)
